The shoe attack: who's next?
What is the way to show your anger? The shoe throwing has become a hot topic in the media. The impact is such that a mainstream leader had to withdraw his candidature and the recent poll scene gives a different description. a new podium is being created where the shoe can not be attacked. whether the politicians are feared of the shoe attack or they just want to say their view while standing far away. it gives an excuse to the big leaders to be away from the masses and still willing to be named mass leaders. any how the second phase s over and the public of these constituencies have already decided their opinion. this year too nothing new has happenned and the polling % had been low as usual. Gandhiji once said democracy is form of government where the 51% people rules over 49%people but here the scene is different and perhaps the 30%people or even less than 30%people rules over more than 65% people. is this the form of democracy we are striving for. this year there was a big campaign by the celebrities to the common man to vote. but the fruitful result is yet to come. in our country where the majority of the population lies between the 30 years of age. they have to be guided the right path and definitely they must be encouraged to vote rather to be involved into the shoe throwing business.
